Cotwolds Camping is a small country site for 25 pitches (one caravan, tent or campavan) with views over the Evenlode valley of West Oxfordshire. It is an ideal location to explore the Cotswolds, and Oxfordshire. Oxford is an easy train journey away, and Stratford-upon-Avon about 27 miles.
Grass pitches with electric hook-ups available, parking adjacent to pitch.
We are sorry that we are unable to take large motorhomes and long caravans, please email to check.
In 2017 we have a separate sole use family/group field with own kitchen facility and toilet Please email for further details.
Open Easter to October, welcoming families, and well behaved dogs on leads/ tethered by pitch.

We have provisional bookings for our group field in 2017. Remaining AVAILABLE weekends are Easter, 21st April, 5th May and 1st September onwards.

In Charlbury (under 1 mile) there are a number of shops including groceries, pharmacy, gift shop with photos printer, pubs and coffee shop. Two of the pubs have bar snacks/ dining areas, and within 5 miles there are several choices for pub dining. Charlbury has an Indian takeaway, a Fish & Chip van on fridays, and Pizza takeaway. There is also a mainline station with regular direct service to London, Oxford and Malvern

Out and About
Chipping Norton - shops, tea rooms, theatre/cinema, and leisure centre. Indoor and outdoor pools. (6 miles)
Woodstock - range of interesting shops, pubs & tea rooms, Oxfordshire Museum and Blenheim Palace. Outdoor pool (7 miles)
Burford - picturesque large village with many unusual shops, a choice of pubs and tea rooms with the Cotswold Wildlife Park located just south. (9 miles)
Witney - a bigger market town — many shops, leisure centre and multi screen cinema. Cogges Farm Museum (7 miles)
Within 25 miles — Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water, Moreton In Marsh, Lechlade, Broadway and Chipping Campden and many small delightful villages.
There are also a number of historic properties within 30 minutes — including Chastleton House, Buscot House, nr Faringdon, and Blenheim Palace in Woodstock.

A pitch is for one caravan/campavan/tent, includes 2 people, hot water showers etc.
Parties of over 6 people in one unit or tents bigger than 6m width/length will be charged for 2 pitches.
High Season (and Bank Holidays - min 3 night booking)
£18 per night/pitch - no hook-up
£23 per night/pitch - with hook- up
£15 per night - no hook-up
£20 per night - with hook -up.
Low Season- £2 per child, (over 5 & under 16) per night and
£4 additional adult per night.
High season (June, July and August)
£4 per child over 5, £6 per additional adult.
Minimum booking of 2 nights for July and August weekends, and 3 night minimum for all Bank Holiday weekends.
The owners reserve the right to charge for an additional pitch for extra large tents or gazebos/pup tents in high season.
Booking is essential, and full payment is required at the time of booking.
Pitches: Check-in time is after 2:00pm - Departure is 11:00am unless by prior agreement.
